We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our new AI Lab at HP SCDS.
The AI Lab is a center of excellence within HP dedicated to research and development of applications in the field of artificial intelligence, investigating new techniques, models and algorithms, with interests in the broad spectrum of AI: from more established methods of deep learning to new approaches to generative AI.
The laboratory collaborates with both academic and industrial fields to promote knowledge and the advancement of AI and its application to resolve problems that have an impact on society.

Basic requirements:
- Degree in an area related to AI/ML (Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics).
- Ability to follow the state of the art of AI. Ability to understand and implement scientific articles.
- Experience applying ML, NLP and LLM solutions, generative AI (GenAI) or data science.
- Advanced knowledge of Python.
- Ability to build mathematical models from practical problems.
- Experience working with one of the following AI and data science frameworks: Pytorch, Tensorflow, HF Transformers, Numpy, Pandas, Sklearn…
- Fluent English (minimum B2, desirable C1).
- Ability to communicate scientific results, both orally and in writing.
Desired requirements:
- PhD or Master in an area related to AI/ML.
- Knowledge of MLOps: deployment, monitoring, testing, AI solutions in the Cloud (Azure, AWS)…
- Knowledge of other programming languages: C, C++, Javascript…
- Knowledge of tools such as Git, docker, bash scripting, dask…
- Articles published in scientific journals or conferences.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
