We are expanding our Big Data team and need a Senior Big Data Engineer to join us.

If you have at least 3 years of experience in developing Big Data solutions, are an expert in Python, and have solid knowledge of Databricks or other data lake, this is your opportunity!

What will you do?

• Design and develop ETL pipelines using Python and Spark in Databricks to integrate data from various sources.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of Big Data solutions in Databricks.
• Help make the data we collect useful for us by creating views that can be used across different departments in the company.
• Actively participate in the planning and execution of tasks, following agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Basic requirements:

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in developing Big Data solutions using Python.
• Solid experience with Databricks or other data processing frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience working in agile teams and using tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Proven ability to design and build scalable data architectures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English.
