🚀 Ready to take on a new software engineering challenge?
We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the SiteFlow team and contribute to the evolution of a cloud platform supporting end-to-end print production workflows for HP Indigo. SiteFlow connects orders, products, production workflows, devices, reporting and customer operations within a distributed, service-oriented platform.
This is an opportunity to work on real-world technical challenges in a production environment, with an active role not only in implementation, but also in technical design, scalability, quality and the evolution of the platform.
You’ll collaborate closely with Software Engineering, Product, UX, Quality Engineering, DevOps and Customer Support, with the autonomy to analyze complex problems, propose solutions and take them from design through to production.
What will you do?
- Design, develop and maintain new platform features and services.
- Build backend services, REST APIs, integrations, workflow components and data persistence solutions.
- Contribute to frontend development using modern web frameworks.
- Turn product requirements into clear, maintainable and scalable technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.
- Solve complex challenges involving production systems, performance, distributed services and integrations.
- Work with asynchronous processing, messaging systems and event-driven architectures.
- Develop automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
- Take an active role in code reviews, promoting clean, secure and maintainable code.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployments, releases and production validation.
- Improve service observability, diagnostics and operational capabilities.
- Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.
- Use AI-assisted software development tools to improve productivity, quality, testing and documentation.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for an experienced software engineer who is comfortable working autonomously with modern, distributed systems.
- Strong professional experience in software development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Professional experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with MongoDB or other document-oriented databases.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue, Angular or React.
- Experience developing automated tests.
- Experience with Git, Agile, code reviews and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of asynchronous processing and event-driven architectures.
- Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Good written and spoken English.
Nice to have
Experience in any of the following would be a plus:
- AWS and cloud-native SaaS platforms.
- RabbitMQ, AMQP or other messaging technologies.
- Docker, Kubernetes or Infrastructure as Code.
- Datadog, logging, metrics or distributed tracing.
- Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber or similar testing tools.
- Workflow management, order processing, logistics, manufacturing or print-production platforms.
- Secure software development, IAM and vulnerability management.
- AI tools for coding, testing, documentation or troubleshooting.
