The future of AI is built by connecting research, development, and the real needs of businesses. At HP SCDS, we work every day to make this a reality from León.
The key: never forget that the best results don’t come from the most powerful model, but from the talent of the people who know how to leverage AI and transform it into solutions that solve problems and are profitable for our clients.
That is the perspective our CEO, Miguel Angel Turrado, brought to the CREO 2026 forum hosted by Cinco Días. It’s a necessary conversation to which we have much to contribute from Spain. During his presentation, he highlighted three key ideas regarding the evolution of artificial intelligence:
- From the technology race to the race for value. In recent years, the focus has been on who can develop the most powerful model. Today, the truly important question is whether AI delivers business value and generates profitable results for organizations.
- Cost determines scale. Every interaction with an AI model has a cost, and demand for its use continues to grow. For artificial intelligence to scale sustainably, we must embrace approaches such as hybrid AI and Edge AI, bringing intelligence closer to the data and to people.
- People make the difference. No model, no matter how advanced, can transform an organization on its own. It is the professionals capable of integrating AI into business processes who generate real impact.
Miguel Ángel Turrado also sent a message to Spain: it’s not enough to simply adopt artificial intelligence; we must also develop it. At HP SCDS, we work every day alongside clients, universities, and technology partners to drive innovation, strengthen the AI ecosystem, and contribute to the development of talent and technological capabilities.
