Today, February 11th, we commemorate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This year’s theme is “Leveraging synergies between artificial intelligence, social sciences, STEM, and the financial system: building an inclusive future for women and girls.”
As a society, we face a fundamental challenge: to continue advancing technologically without creating new inequalities and to eliminate those that already exist. Artificial intelligence offers enormous potential to transform key sectors, but its development and application must be guided by an ethical and responsible vision that takes its social impact into account.
At HP SCDS, as a company specialized in developing technological solutions, we believe that innovation only makes sense when it serves people. We are committed to purpose-driven solutions that generate real impact and contribute to a more equitable society, always guided by the values that define our DNA. Reducing the digital gap and promoting diversity in talent are part of that responsibility.
STEM disciplines are essential to building the future—and that future must be shaped in more inclusive environments, where women and girls have the same opportunities to participate, learn, and lead.
