The Urraca I of León exhibition, “Reina Ella”, offers a new way to discover the legacy of Queen Urraca through technology.
We continue collaborating with local institutions to help tell the story of this key historical figure. On this occasion, together with León City Council, we have taken part in the exhibition opened on March 6 at the Museo de León.
Our contribution to the Urraca I of León exhibition focuses on developing digital experiences that enhance the visitor journey.
At HP SCDS, we created the welcome video for the exhibition. This audiovisual piece helps visitors understand the context and prepares them for the story they are about to explore.
In addition, we worked on the 3D modeling of 10 coins from the time of Urraca I. These are small objects, and many of their details can go unnoticed when viewed directly.
Thanks to 3D technology, visitors can interact with these coins through a touchscreen. They can view both sides and explore inscriptions in detail, which are essential to understanding their historical value.
As a result, the exhibition becomes a more engaging and accessible experience. Technology helps bring history closer to visitors in a meaningful way.
We are proud to take part in cultural initiatives like this exhibition, which combine heritage and innovation to make history more accessible and engaging.
