On October 10th, we took part in a workshop organized by CEOE Castilla y León, FELE, and Adecco to address one of the major challenges currently facing organizations: workplace absenteeism.
During the panel discussion we shared—moderated by Enrique Suárez Santos, Secretary General of FELE Empresas de León—together with Javier Ordóñez (HR Director at Lactiber León) and Álvaro Fernández González (HR Director at Coated Solutions), we reflected on three key areas:
1️⃣ Organizational impact: how absenteeism affects productivity, workplace climate, and the day-to-day organization of companies.
2️⃣ Business best practices: from prevention to proactive engagement management, minimizing the consequences of absenteeism.
3️⃣ The role of public administrations: what measures should be taken to address the issue from a structural perspective.

We work towards a shared goal: increasing not only productivity, but also wellbeing within our organizations.
Thank you for creating this space for dialogue, and especially to the rest of the participants in the workshop: José Julián Nieto Manjarrés (Territorial Director at Adecco), Rosa Santos Fernández (Director of Employment, Diversity and Social Protection at CEOE), Santiago Soler (Secretary General at Adecco), and Juan María Vallejo (President of FELE Empresas de León).
